Ed has announced on the hallwatch site that it will cease operations on February 26th. No reason is given. Ed has provided the residents of the city with an invaluabe source of information that should have been available from City Hall but was not. We will miss him. Read the story here.

This really is the end of an era. Ed Goppelt did a lot more than just run a website. I saw on twitter about hallwatch2.org that is trying to do the same thing, but we’ll see how successful that is.
Ed was digging out information before anyone else thought it was possible. So far, he has not been replaced.
