The owner had work permits but no zoning that we heard of at the meeting. Dan Savage said that L&I would be going out to inspect. Both properties are single family dwellings. We will try to stay on top of the story. Maybe it will take a march on city hall. This crap has got to stop.

As I left the meeting early I did not hear discussion about 1524 Church. Is the owner seeking a zoning variance or is this a permitted use under the current zoning?

Not only are they 120 feet from the door to St. Joachim church and 250 feet from the Northwood Academy Charter school, the one house shares the front steps with a family. A family who works hard to keep what they have. A family with 2 older girls and this is a place for men. So now does this mean I can't put my pool in my back yard, I can't sit on my front steps, my girls and their friends can't be out there and I have little family members that come spend weekends with us. How dare these people come in, not even come in, they snuck in. This block definitly has no room for this "facility" made out of 2 residential single family dwellings.
