Blow Out was not at all a bad movie. I’m a Brian DePalma fan and I love movies filmed in Philly. And Quentin Tarantino once said it was one of his three favorites. It got an 89% on rottentomatoes.com, that’s a quality flick.

But alas, Fighting Back is only available on VHS and not so I can not procure it off the internet for viewing or screen shots.

maybe it was another movie. It sure is! I asked my brother and sister and they said it was a film called Fighting back. Sorry Jim for making you watch Blow Out.

I just watched Blow Out and didn’t see that house or Frankford in the movie at all. Maybe I missed it because I was surfing the net while it was on but I don’t think any film location was outside of center city. Maybe it was another movie.

Yeah I know that house. It looks exactly like it’s one half a house. it’s like dead center in front of you if you’re in driving down Pilling Street towards Arrott. I’ve brought that house up to my wife while checking on our trees we planted in Overington Park. Here it is on google street view:

I wonder if the residents of the house are aware of this movie. There was a movie filmed on Arrott Street and Pilling St. The house looks like a half of a castle.The movie starred John Travolta. I was going to put it on the qiuz message board but I foret the title. I think its Black out or wipe out???? If someone knows please let us know.
