[...] a huge fan of the online magazine Metropolis. Ever since they actually did an in depth 4 part series that did more than just rehash the same old Frankford. I’m also a huge fan of Temple’s journalism school, and in particular, it’s [...]

I don't think any of the articles blame political infighting for Frankford's downfall. There's plenty of candidates for that. I think there is tons of political infighting but that's just symptomatic of weak involvement by the community. I honestly believe Frankford has the representation it deserves. It has the civic it deserves. And it has the CDC it deserves.

I would love to know what, if anything, the Frankford CDC does though.

Frankford is mostly represented by the 7th Councilmanic District in which Councilwoman Sanchez is the Councilperson. But, it is also represented by three more City Council people, Councilman DiCicco, Clarke, and Councilwoman Krajewski.

It is always easy to use a politician or rumor that political infighting is the demise of a neighborhood. The reality is that people do not take care of their homes like they use to and they don't parent their children.

Rita Lugrine stabs at the politicians, but she is a member of the Frankford Community Development Corporation. I have not seen one thing the FCDC has done in the last two years. What do you do FCDC or Rita Lugrine for that matter?
