  • Hedge Street Park Cleanup

    Description – We were not able to get a team of volunteers and equipment for Philly Cares Day so the success of this cleanup will solely depend on community participation. We are looking to get 40 volunteers for this event.

    Description – Womrath Park will be the site of a green stormwater management project led by the Philadelphia Water Department in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. Beautiful new gardens will collect rainwater and allow it to filter into the ground instead of overloading the city’s sewer system. This project will beautify the park and improve the quality of Philadelphia’s waterway. Bring a lunch and join us for an update on the design plans for Womrath Park and a tour of the site.
