The Frankford NAC met on Thursday, August 14th, where they decided to support zoning variances for two duplexes.
The owner of 1652 Haworth Street is seeking to legalize the existing use of the property. At present the zoning only allows for single family use.
At 4314 Leiper Street the owner is planning major renovations to the deteriorating property. The rear part of the building has to be rebuilt and the owner would like to convert it to two family use.
No community residents to oppose either project attended the meeting and after questioning representatives of each owner, the NAC decided to support their requests.
The next meeting of the Frankford NAC is scheduled for September 11 at 7PM at the Second Baptist Church at 1801 Meadow Street.
