Burglary was up in August.

Theft from vehicles dropped significantly.  This type of crime may be exactly what implementation of Town Watch helps to reduce.  A systematic review of studies (which weighted studies with rigorous research designs) found that neighborhood watches reduced crime by 16-26%.
