Family Fun Fest
It was a bit overcast on May 21st but the Family Fun Fest sponsored by By Grace Alone Church, Frankford Memorial United Methodist Church and Calvary Church of Souderton made its own sunshine all afternoon. There was lots of room for fun with the street closed off in front of the church.
This event originated a few years ago when it was held at the original home of By Grace Alone, down on Oxford Avenue above Griscom. The congregation outgrew that little building and has moved up the road to Oxford and Dyre, sharing space with Frankford Memorial.
I bet these kids are already thinking about next year.
BGA is also sponsoring a Summer Arts Camp in July and August. Lots of good stuff happening up there.
Frankford Civil War Monument
Here is a little history about the Frankford Civil War Monument at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The second video is from an observance from the rededication of the Memorial in 2012. Watch for the 21 gun salute.
