I NEVER WILL FORGET

 I NEVER WILL FORGET
I’ve seen flowers in the meadow, I’ve seen flowers on the hill,
But  I’ve never seen a flower quite as beautiful as you.
I’ve seen the sun rise in Seattle, I’ve seen the sun rise in New York,
But I’ve never seen a sunrise quite as beautiful as you.
I remember the first day I saw you, that day I never will forget.
You were standing in the sunlight, and your hair was blowing in the wind.
Then you turned and winked at me, something I never will forget.
Then somehow you got lost in the crowd, like the wind you were gone,
I never saw you again.

WHAT YOU BELIEVE, YOU BELIEVE

WHAT YOU BELIEVE, YOU BELIEVE

If you believe the world is flat, I’m cool with that.
If you believe money grows on trees, I’m cool with that.
If you believe the moon is made of Swiss cheese, I’m cool with that.

I don’t think I’ve been put on this Earth to be unkind,
To think what is yours and what is mine.

All the changes that we go through, Listen my sister and my brother,
You can’t change me and I can’t change you.

So the bottom line, blue is blue. So let’s get it together and agree,
I can’t change you and you can’t change me.

Let’s not stress over what should and should not be,
I can’t change you and you can’t change me.

But this one thing we must agree. blue is blue and money don’t grow on trees, and I’m cool with that. Can we agree?

2020 FLU

2020 FLU

People always say what’s good for me is good for you,
But that’s not always true.
Because what’s good for me may not be good for you.
Let’s talk about this thing they call the flu,
it’s not good for me and it’s not good for you.
It keeps people out of work, and children out of school.
So don’t run around thinking that you’re cool,
That you will not be able to catch this thing they call the 2020 flu.
It won’t be good for me, and it won’t be good for you.

Historical Sites of Frankford in Philadelphia

Looking for something new while waiting for COVID-19 to go away?

Come sail with The Captain as he walks Rick The Puppy through the streets of Frankford. The Captain made a few friends who are in The Frankford Historical Society. They told him some stories that he could not believe he never knew before. They told him about how important Frankford Ave and who used to travel on it. The Captain learned about the term “The Frankford Advice” and the important location that advice was given in. He sees a graveyard older than the United States and so much more.

Shadows on the Wall

Shadows on the Wall

Shadows on the wall, it used to be three.
You, me and the sun, now it’s only me.
When the sun goes behind the clouds, it sets me free.
I really don’t know what happened to you and me.
Shadows on the wall, it’s only me.
When I wake up in the morning, I think of all three.
Shadows on the wall, where there used to be three.
I think I will never get over you, when you left, one shadow left with you.
When I close my eyes, I can still see three,
That only tells me I’ll never be free,
Shadows on the wall where there used to be three,
On a cloudy day it’s only me.
Shadows on the wall when it used to be three.
