Rumors swirled around the neighborhood today that the T&T bar will reopen under “new management” with the new name “Deuces”. This is the bar where Chris Spence was shot down only two weeks ago. The neighborhood has vowed to keep it closed, no matter what the name.

This tip from Lisa came in yesterday afternoon. There is a lot of property for sale in Frankford and I didn’t pay much attention till I saw the possible uses for the building. Is this the best idea Unity Street. You be the judge. It’s been two years since the Town Hall meeting on this very subject but we still seem to be no closer to a legislative approach to controlling this problem.

A local source says that 4712 Castor Avenue has been purchased by someone who intends to use it as a residence. Signs of a clean up are on the horizon there. Sidewalks were cleared of snow after the recent storm.
1913 Ruan could be a nice little house but the most recent sale sure does put it out of my league, $1,200,000. You can see it here on Trulia. So says the OPA (Office of Property Assessment) at this link. Or might this be a case of the city not being able to apportion the value of the sale multiple properties in a single transaction.
Got a tip on this from a real reporter because of a recent fire at the address.

Looks like something new is coming to 4411 Frankford Avenue. Nice sign on the building but it doesn’t tell us about Chris or what he is up to. Chris are you out there?
