  • Hope4Philly – Sat, September 15, 11am – 3pm, Harding Middle School, 4700 Torresdale Ave., Hope4Philly is a nonprofit organization which consists of a network of organizations, churches, and community services across the greater Philadelphia area focused on bring hope and healing to the at-risk families and communities in our region. This is accomplished through outreach events and coordinated efforts. At each outreach site there will be resources provided that offer a hand up, not just a hand out.

  • Historic Homes and Sites of Frankford Virtual Walking Tour – Sun, September 23, 2:00pm – 4:30pm, 1507 Orthodox St, Take a virtual tour of Frankford in the Society’s newest publication “Historic Homes & Sites of Frankford” through a presentation and exhibition. Learn of our efforts to secure a listing on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places for this area’s oldest house.
  • Frankford Garden Club Trip to Morris Arboretum – Mon, September 24, 9:00am – 2:30pm, Wissinoming Park parking lot on Cheltenham Avenue , 9:00 AM: meet at Wissinoming Park parking lot on Cheltenham Avenue; 1:30 PM: leave Morris Arboretum. Tickets are $12.00 per person; Frankford Garden Club members pay $5.00. Ticket price includes transportation, admission and a guided tour or you may explore on your own.
