Rotary Club of Frankford Northeast Scholarship Winners

On Tuesday, May 12th, The Rotary Club of Frankford Northeast hosted it’s 2015 scholarship winners and their parents at their regular meeting at The Canstatter.  This year the club awarded five area students with $700 scholarships.  The criteria for the scholarship was determined by each individual school.

This year’s recipients of scholarships include:

  • Carl Tucker from Frankford High School
  • Thomas D. Marcantonio from Archbishop Ryan High School
  • William Studley from Father Judge High School
  • Garbiel Baez from New Foundations Charter School
  • Somah Slewion from Swenson Arts and Technology High School

Congratulations to the 2015 Scholarship Recipients! Today you’re a step closer to your dream and will soon be reaping the fruits of your hard work.

The Rotary Club of Frankford Northeast meets Tuesdays at 12:15 at The Canstatter. First time guest prospective Rotarians are welcome to enjoy a complimentary lunch. Our club features a guest speaker at most Tuesday meetings.  Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
