Maria Quiñones-Sánchez for Congress?

Holly Otterbein, Staff Writer at philly.com speculates on the possibility that the redistricting that was ordered by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, if it becomes a reality, opens the possibility that some new folks may try to unseat the incumbents in 2 Congressional districts.  Since there is little competition from the Republican party, it would be interesting to see some among the Democrats.

Brendan Boyle is the Representative in the Pennsylvania Congressional District.  If the proposed new 2nd District boundaries are approved, the district changes so much that only about half of his previous constituents will be in the new district.  That makes it much easier for a challenger to come in and make a play for the seat.  Said to be considering a run are Bill Green, a School Reform Commission member and former city councilman, and Councilwoman Maria Quiñones-Sánchez.
