Change Coming to Castor and Wyoming Avenue

PennDOT & Urban Engineers Invite You

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is planning to reconstruct the intersection of Castor Avenue (State Route 1005) and Wyoming Avenue in the City of Philadelphia to improve the approach geometry and narrow the circulatory roadway to slow the speeds of vehicles navigating the roundabout.

As part of our public outreach program, PennDOT cordially invites you to attend a public meeting for this transportation improvement project. The meeting will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America building, which is located adjacent to the intersection at 1331 East Wyoming Avenue in Philadelphia.

Members of PennDOT’s design team will discuss the intersection design and the project’s schedule, and they will be available to answer questions and gather feedback from local residents and stakeholders. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public and receive input on the proposed improvements.
