    Where-between Leiper and Pilling Streets, along the 1300 Block of Orthodox St (map)
    Description-Friends of Overington Park, between Leiper and Pilling Streets, along the 1300 Block of Orthodox St., are looking for help in the park. Meeting at 10am till 12 noon. We will be picking out 10 spots for trees that we will plant in Nov., also we will be cleaning out flower beds and mulching them. If you use this park come out and help us keep it beautiful! THANKS!
  • PDAC meeting

    Description-The September meeting also will feature nominations for PDAC offices. The session is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at the Perzel Community Center.

    We had 31 volunteers come out and clean up the park’s planting beds on the 27th of Sept.. We had to pick up dog waste out of the middle of the flower beds. There is a whole park for your dog to do his thing, please don’t walk your dog into the middle of the plantings and let them release
    themselves. We also have a dog waste box filled with bags to dispose of your dogs droppings, please use them!
    We will be planting 10 new trees on Nov. 15 from 10 am till 12 noon. We need help putting in the new trees. Please stop by and lend a hand.
