    Description – The Community Health Enrichment Empowerment Resource Services (C.H.E.E.R.S.) Program for 2012 begins on March 3, 2012 and runs for 8 Saturdays. This is a Program run by Police Officers and designed to positively impact the youth (Students Ages 8-17) of our City. The program is a collaboration of efforts and resources of community based organizations, speakers, police officers and residents, in order to give our youth the necessary tools to create brighter futures and better communities. The following is the information on the C.H.E.E.R.S. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

  • Saint Patrick’s Day Party

    Description – ANNUAL MEETING – Come out and learn what has been done this past year at your historical society — and what is being planned for the upcoming year. Enjoy a rare, behind the scenes tour of our 1930’s building and vast museum and library collections, followed by light refreshments. Don’t miss it!
  • Rain Barrel Workshop

    Description – Aaron Slater of the Energy Coordinating Agency will present information on conserving water for gardening, cleaning and more while you lower your water bill. The free workshop, one of four in the Green Frankford Series sponsored by the Frankford Garden. Participants will have the chance to apply for a rain barrel, which will be manufactured, delivered and installed for free by ECA staff. Call 215-685-1473 for more information.
