Coming Up in Frankford 8/24 to 9/20/2013

  • St. James Coffee House – Sat, August 24, 7pm – 9pm,  St. James Lutheran Church, Castor Ave. and Pratt St. – We will provide an open microphone and a relaxed, welcoming space for artistic and spiritual expression. Attendees are invited to enjoy and /or perform music, poetry, comedy, dance, and other performance arts (Secular or Sacred). A drum set and amps will be available for use. Individuals and groups who wish to participate may walk-in and sign up that evening or schedule timeslots in advance. Slots will be filled at a first come, first serve basis. Coffee and other refreshments will be provided for a nominal fee. All are welcome to attend and a donation will be accepted at the door.   • Podiatrist Dr. Steven Schutzbank – Tue, September 17, 12pm – 2pm, Peter Bressi Northeast Senior Center 4744 Frankford Ave. – Podiatrist Dr. Steven Schutzbank will be coming to the center on Sept. 17th from 12:00pm – 2:00pm to present on the topic of proper foot care. He will then be clipping participant’s toe nails. All seniors are urged to attend this no appointment needed event! Please bring proof of current health insurance.

  • Flea Market – Sat, September 21, 8am – 1pm, St. James Lutheran Church, Castor Ave and Pratt Streets – Come to buy or come to sell. Space with our table $15.00. Space with your table $10.00.
