“You get the politicians you deserve.”
Primary Election Day is tomorrow and there are some good reasons to vote. Take a look at the Committee of 70 Digital Ballot Tool available on their page here. It is an easy way to see what choices you have before you get to the polls. Both Democrats and Republicans have some interesting choices to make.
U.S. Representative Brendan Boyle is running against newcomer, Michele Lawrence.
State Senator, Christine Tartaglione has no opposition.
State Representative John Taylor in the 177th District is not running for reelection, so there are four democrats and one Republican who would like to be on the ballot in November to replace him. Northwood resident, Joe Hohenstein, is among the Democrats Republican Patty-Pat Kozlowski is unopposed to become their candidate in November.
State Representative Jason Dawkins in the 179th District has some opposition from Olney native Abu Edwards.
