Concert in the Park

Legendary Drummer Butch Ballard & His Trio performed to an appreciative crowd tonight in Frankford’s Womrath park. This event was made possible by the Friends of Womrath Park, the Philadelphia Department of Recreation and a host of other people.

Only steps from the now idled Art Holiday theater, this was the first concert in a series of two. The next is scheduled for Wednesday September 19th at 6:30 PM. That concert will by a performance by the R&B group – Sparrow.
