Vice Crackdown in Frankford

Take your business elsewhere, Frankford is closed.

Thanks to Chris Sawyer from Philadelinquency, we can see that the Philadelphia police vice unit was cracking down on prostitution on November 15th.  There were 7 arrests made in the 2 hour period.  Those arrested were the johns or should we say those who were seeking services from the prostitutes who turned out to be undercover police officers.

A local massage parlor was also raided last month. Its good to know that this kind of crime is being addressed.

Thanksgiving Week in Frankford

There are events all week but these are a few of the highlights.  It started this week at Dining with Dignity at St. Mark’s Church on Saturday.

We then went over to the Northeast Baptist Church on Tackawanna Street.

The Frankford High/North Catholic Football Turkey Bowl comes back for the 7th year to Frankford Stadium on Thursday.  PLAYERS MUST ARRIVE @ 7:30AM. GAME WILL START @ 8:00AM!!!

The Oldheads play over at Gambrel at about 11 AM.  It’s just for fun but all are welcome.

Some friends in Frankford will be serving the annual Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving at Greater Love Baptist Church.  See the details below.
