You can be a part of getting gun off the streets of our neighborhood.
FGM will host an event organized by the 15th District of the Philadelphia Police Dept. called a “Gun Buy Back.” The date is August 15, 10am-2pm. Members of the community who would like to turn in a gun will receive a $50 voucher for groceries, no questions asked.
I am writing to ask you to donate donate cash or grocery store gift certificates. Checks may be written to Frankford Group Ministry. Any leftover vouchers or gift certificates donated to FGM will be distributed by our Emergency Assistance Program to families in need.
The goal is to raise a total of $5,000 , of which $1,000 has already been raised.
