The EPIC Stakeholders meeting was well attended on January 30th at Second Baptist Church for two excellent presentations.
- Tamisha Lewis and Tracie Hall representing Primerica Financial Services provided some financial education.
- Vicky Riley and Chole McNeil representing the Philadelphia Department of Revenue gave a wealth of information of tax problems and solutions. They covered the Real Estate Freeze Program, Senior Citizens Low Income Special Tax Provisions, the Real Estate Tax Deferral Program, the Long Time Owner Occupants Program (LOOP). In addition they answered questions about the Water Revenue Bureau although they are not in that department. They were extremely well informed.
Dinner was provided the the culinary crew at Second Baptist. The next meeting of the Northeast EPBIC Stakeholders will be on February 27th at 5:30 PM at Second Baptist Church at 1801 Meadow Street.
