Meeting on Carmella Playground Green Infrastructure Improvements

Residents are invited to learn about Green City, Clean Waters improvements coming to Carmella Playground at a community meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the Carmella Rec Center, 2100 Wakeling St. The playground has been selected for landscaping improvements that will help soak up stormwater runoff and beautify the site. This investment is part of Philadelphia Water’s Green City, Clean Waters program, which uses specially designed green tools to manage stormwater runoff and protect our rivers and streams.
