Fun-Filled Grand Opening on May 17
Value Retailer Back, Bigger and Better than Ever with Store Opening at Castor Avenue and Wyoming Avenue
National Wholesale Liquidators (NWL), the one-stop value retailer known for its super savings, is returning to Philadelphia. Located at the former Kmart location at Castor Avenue and Wyoming Avenue, the Philadelphia location will provide shoppers an unmatched selection of first quality, name brand merchandise mixed with closeouts at unbelievable prices. The store will open its doors at 9 a.m., and there will be a brief Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11 a.m. Throughout the day, NWL will give away $10,000 in shopping sprees to attendees. In addition, there will be lots of giveaways, food samplings, face painting and music. Doors officially open to the public on Tuesday, May 17 at 9 a.m.
Back in Philadelphia, bigger and better than ever, NWL is continuing to expand across the northeastern United States. The nearly 100,000 sq. ft. space in Philadelphia, formerly home to Kmart, will become NWL’s 13th big box store. Opening its first location in the Greater Philadelphia area since 2008, NWL is already proving itself to be a great community partner as it launches its “Charity of the Month” program. To be honored at the Grand Opening, its first charity of the month will be St. Martin de Porres School, an Independence Mission School located in North Philadelphia. St. Martin de Porres School’s 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team recently won the Pennsylvania State CYO Basketball Championship. When practicing at school, the team has to use a portable basketball hoop brought into the auditorium, as the school does not have a real gymnasium. NWL will provide the school the necessary equipment it needs to continue its success.
