You have lived in zip code 19124 for a while.
You sit for an interview for 2 to 3 hours at St. Mark’s Church.
You leave with an AmEx gift card for $50.
Simple as that.
Interviews are confidential, they will ask for your name, birthdate and address, but they take careful steps to protect all information. (All confidentiality procedures are overseen by Temple University).
The information collected during interviews is for research purposes, and will be used to write an academic book. The purpose of the research is to study the experience of living in a community with a high rate of prisoner reentry and to document the experience of men age 25-34 as they try to make ends meet in today’s economy.
