We’ve already caught up with Brea Bee when she was starring in a web based vampire series being filmed in Port Richmond. Well I was watching Silver Linings Playbook about an hour ago and towards the end of the movie, Bradley Cooper’s wife shows up in the movie and I swore it as Brea Bee. And it turns out, it was. The Little Flower graduate has popped up again, this time in a Golden Globe winning movie. Here’s Brea talking on 97.5 The Fanatic about the movie when it first came out. Way to go Brea!

Real Estate Watch: Frankford Ave Building housing Little Hands Daycare annex hits the market
For 224,900 you can own the 4 unit property at 4312 Frankford Ave. It’s between Church and Unity on the west side of the Ave.
From the listing:
Completely Remodelled in 2012, mixed use property containing 4 units total. Second and third floor are both 2 bedroom apartments, with rear deck, currently rented for $700 each (month to month leases.) First floor was last used as an annex to a daycare (was rented for $800 per month), plus an efficiency apartment in rear (could possibly be used as an office space for primary business). Seller is motivated and will review all reasonable offers!
The realtor misspelled ‘remodeled’. [I only caught it ’cause my web browser underlined it in red]. And man, rent is high! $700 to live next to the El!?!? You can tell it’s an old Frankford Ave building that’s been extended too. I love those buildings. I’m glad it was recently remodelled.

City ordered 5003 Penn St be demolished
What seems like decades ago but was really last March, I noticed that the house on the corner of Penn and Wakeling looked like its brick walls were preparing to buckle and put in a See Click Fix request for the city to…. notice it? Well, Frankford Gazette reader Matt pointed out it now has a notice of imminent danger poster by L&I on it.
The poster notes that the owner is required to demolish the property or the city will do it and bill the owner. Who knows when that will happen.
Maybe after they demolish it, Frankord-Aria Hospital can buy it the lot and keep the weeds at bay.
