Frankford Garden Club News

We are changing our monthly meeting day to the 4th Wednesday of the Month. Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 27, 6-7: 30 pm at The Wissinoming Recreation Center on Cheltenham Ave.
We will be making Teacup/Coffee Mug flower arrangements with help from Diane, so bring a cup or mug with you! We will have a few extra mugs and all other supplies.
New members and guests are welcome to join us.

This year our Annual Day-Before-Mother’s Day Plant Sale will be in front of the Jefferson Frankford Hospital at the corner of Wakeling Street & Frankford Ave. on May 11 from 10 am to 1 pm.
We really enjoyed holding the sale in Frankford Pause Park last year, but the Park will not be available till later in the season due to construction.

Frankford Garden Club Going to Longwood Gardens

We are going on a field trip to see the Fall colors and Chrysanthemum Festival at Longwood Gardens on Saturday, November 19, 2016

  • 9:30 am – Depart via Yellow School Bus from Wissinoming Park parking lot on Cheltenham Ave.  Free parking
  • 10:30 am – Arrive at Longwood Gardens
  • 3:30 pm   – Depart from Longwood
  • 4:30 pm   – Arrive at Wissinoming Park

TICKETS from Frankford Garden Club: Members-$7, Guests-$17, Children, 5 to 18 years-$7

Frankford Garden Club Membership:Individual -$10, Family – $15

Frankford Garden Club Trip to the Fairmount Park Horticultural Center

The Frankford Garden Club invites you to join us for a bus trip to the Fairmount Park Horticultural Center on Friday  October 23, 2015.  We will be touring the Greenhouse and the gardens AND we will tour the Shofuso Japanese Tea House and Gardens, where will participate in a Tea Tasting demonstration. Please see the attached flyer and the details below

The Frankford Garden Club Invites You to Join us for  a Bus Trip to Chanticleer,  A Pleasure Garden  in Wayne, PA For their 20th Anniversary as a Public Garden.

 Wednesday, June 17th,  2015 10:00am  to  3:00pm Departing from Wissinoming Park on Cheltenham Ave.

 $5 for Frankford Garden Club or PHS Members, $10 for Guests,  FREE for Children 12 years and Under!
