Once again we are coming up Penn Street and find this very nice pair of well kept homes in the 4600 block.

 

Over in the Northwood section of Frankford, in the beautiful 1000 block of Allengrove Street, we find this home.

This is our first on Tacony Street.  I have an old memory of this block (4700) from way back in 1948 when my father, his brother Bill and I were stranded in Bill’s old red Willys car right on the corner.  We were close enough to walk but it’s been a few years and the memory still hangs on.  There were several nice homes in this block so I had to take the one with the best view.  It’s a busy street. 

This week we are on the 1600 block of Wakeling Street.  This block is lined with a great collection of homes and therefore home owners.

This week, it is on the 1500 block of Gillingham Street.  Easy to miss the quiet charm of this little house on this little street.
