In the 1200 block of Arrott Street, an oasis of tranquility.  (I had previously called this Margaret Street but was corrected by an astute reader.)

 

Right near Overington Park is a quiet little corner of Frankford and on the 4600 block of Pilling Street is our home of the week.

 

I was standing in the middle of Orchard Street taking this picture when a pickup truck came up along side of me and the driver asked why I was taking a picture of his uncle’s house.  When I told him that it was going to be the home of the week, he seemed to feel better about that but still probably didn’t quite believe me.  It’s in the 4100 block and it has seen some tender loving care.  It deserves the recognition.

We’re coming up Penn Street and find this one in the 4200 block.  Fresh paint and stucco makes it stand out.

 

This week it’s on the 4100 block of Hawthorne on a beautiful spring day.
