  • Family Bingo Night is Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. cost $0.25 per card
  • Day Camp Registration begins April 2, 2018 for additional information email us.
  • Tee Ball Registration begins Monday, March 12, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.  Call Pat for more information.
  • Lifeguard Fair will be held at Simpson Recreation Center March 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. come out and get information or interview for a position.

  • Puzzles, Riddles, & Strategies Club begins Monday, February 5, 2018 at 4:30 p.m.
  • SRCAC meeting February 13, 2018
  • Simpson’s Development League is looking for teams 8u. 10u, and 12u.
  • Simpson will host its 1st Annual Chess tournament for beginners & intermediate on Saturday February 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  To signup call Conor at 215-685-1223, space is limited.
  • Simpson is asking all visitors to help us Recycle when you visit make sure you use the recycle bins.

Happenings at Simpson Recreation Center

The Simpson staff has a new edition welcome to Patrick Riley the new Recreation Leader Trainee.

Simpson Recreation Center along with the all Philadelphia Parks & Recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, September 4th in Honor of Labor Day.

Simpson Recreation Center will return to regular operating hours Monday-Friday 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  as well as all Fall programs and permitted groups will begin Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

After School program is currently full but accepting application for the wait list.

Arts & Crafts Mondays 6-7 p.m.

Board Games Thursday 6-7p.m.

Chess Club Wednesdays 5-6 p.m.

Martial Arts Fridays 6-7:30 p.m.

SRCAC Meets Wednesday 6th at 7:00 p.m.

Zumba Tuesdays 6p.m.

What’s Happening at Simpson Recreation Center in August

There is a lot going on.

  • After school program participant registration is on going we still have a few slots available.
  • Looking for an After School Instructor email us at simpsonrecctr@hotmail.com.
  • Call on People interested in being a lifeguard for the 2018 Pool Season.  A end of the season Lifeguard class will take place the week of August 14, 2017.
  • Arts & Crafts will be returning October on Saturdays look for registration.
  • Chess club returns Wednesday, September 6, 2017.
  • Martial Arts classes will be on vacation the month of August and will return Friday, September 8, 2017.
  • Walking Club returns this fall.
  • Zumba Classes are Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m.

11-1p.m. Camp Swim

1-4 p.m. General Swim

5-6 p.m. Family Swim

6-7 p.m. Adult Swim

Monday & Wednesday 

4-5p.m. Swim Lessons

Tuesday & Thursday

4-5 p.m. Swim Team Practice

Fridays General Swim 1-5 p.m.

Saturday 

12-1 p.m. Aqua Zumba

1-5 General Swim

Sunday

No SRCAC meetings July & August.
