There has been a change at the head of Carson Valley Children’s Aid.
Carson Valley Children’s Aid (CVCA) recently announced that Roberta L. Trombetta, Esq., has been selected as the institution’s next Chief Executive Officer. Trombetta, a longtime children’s advocate, will succeed John Taaffe, who will retire effective June 30, 2012 after a remarkable 39-year tenure that has been highlighted by the expansion of the institution’s mission as a progressive model in the care and education of at-risk children. Taaffe holds the second longest tenure as CEO, and Trombetta will become just the fifth leader in CVCA’s 95-year history.
I am highlighting the story mainly because of the interesting history. Steve Blackburn heads the local office at 4451 Frankford Avenue. Read all about in the Montgomery County Times Herald.
