This week we’re at 4655 Frankford Avenue at Mario’s No. 1-Eight Pk Inc. It is licensed as a restaurant by our highly esteemed Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. As such “to qualify for a restaurant liquor license, the establishment must be a reputable place habitually and principally used for the purpose of providing food for the public. The establishment shall have an area within a building of not less than 400 square feet and must be equipped with tables and chairs to accommodate at least 30 persons at one time.”
The business is for sale and it does not have a long line of eager customers, like some of our other licenses restaurants. It does make you wonder what attracts the crowd to those other places. Could it be the food?
