The Frankford Community Development Corporation recently announced it was awarded a grant through Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Neighborhood Assistance Program – Neighborhood Partnership Program!
Through this program, the Frankford CDC has partnered with BB&T Bank for the Neighborhood Assistance Program – Neighborhood Partnership Program tax credit. This is a five-year program that will result in the CDC receiving $100,000 each year for five years.
The CDC will use the funding toward completing renovations on the Daral Building, construction of the Frankford Pause Park, and the Arrott area streetscaping project.
More importantly, acceptance into the program is a vote of confidence in the Frankford CDC. It shows that the grant makers recognize the CDC for its ability to plan and achieve its goals as planned. Congratulations to Kim Washington and the crew.
