MORE THAN JUST A WOMAN

She’s more than just a woman,

who wandered into my life.

She’s more than just a woman,

that I spoke to more than twice.

She’s the woman who fights back the tears as I hold her through the night.

It’s more than just anguish.

It’s more than just the pain.

When she looks into the mirror and sees she’s not the same.

It’s like looking in muddy water but now it’s crystal clear.

God gave her the strength to make it, this is why she is still here.

When you talk about surviving, this is one thing that you can say,

she has the strength to make it, each an every day.

When she looks into the mirror – it’s more than just a woman.

“IT’S A SURVIVOR” Is what she sees.
