Makes No Difference

Makes No Difference

When your candle flickers out,
there’s nothing more to be said.
When your candle flickers out,
all the good, the bad, and the sad,
there’s no time to straighten out.

When your candle flickers out,
you think you left a legacy behind,
but all you left was the dash.
The dash stands for the beginning and the end,
when your candle flickers out.

One day your candle was burning bright,
but now the candle’s out.
It doesn’t make a difference of how good or how bad you’ve been,
it still comes down to the dash.
It is your beginning and your end,
and now the candle’s out.

IF MY HEART COULD SING

IF MY HEART COULD SING

You know you can’t make it through this world alone.

So why don’t you teach your heart a song.

Once it learns the words, it will be your best friend,

Then teach your heart how to sing.

When you’re down and out, your heart will sing,

Those words you taught your heart to sing.

So stick out your chest and don’t be afraid because your heart knows the song you taught it to sing.

So get it together you’ll never be alone, because your heart knows it’s the only one – that knows the words to your song.

YOU GOT TO BELIEVE

YOU GOT TO BELIEVE

The future is coming, don’t be afraid get yourself ready, learn to be brave.

The leaves that are green turn bright colors of orange and tangerine,

I hope you have been inspired by the leaves on the tree the array of colors, You’ve got to believe.

A change is coming get prepared for global warming, because climate change is not a thought it’s already here.

This world is getting smaller, and hope is not the only thing we need.

We need people to pull together, and be sincere because the future is coming so be brave.

Because climate change is real, you got to believe.

Life Decisions

LIFE DECISIONS

Is this the beginning or is this end, is this a sentimental journey or are we just friends.
Should we forget about the years, and hold back the tears for the time that we spend together.
Running in and out of this thing we call life, falling down a hole that is as black as charcoal.
Are we lovers or are we friends, walking down this road that I think will lead to the end.
One day you will step out of the darkness, and declare we’re more than lovers and we’re more than friends.
While walking down that road, that will end.
More than lovers always friends.
