Second Baptist Church of Frankford Celebrates 150
From the Second Baptist Church
Second Baptist Church, 1801 Meadow Street, in Frankford will commemorate its 150th church anniversary at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019.

Friends, family, and the Frankford community are invited to help us celebrate in worship and praise. Reverend Dr. Darrell R. Bradsbery, Pastor of Second Baptist Church, will deliver a power packed message beginning with the 11:00 a.m. morning worship service.
Second Baptist Church has extended special invitations to the PA Governor Tom Wolfe, Honorable Mayor Jim Kenny, Senator Tina Tartaglione, Frankford Representatives Jason Dawkins, James Clay Jr., and Stephanie M. Sawyer, Esquire. We want you to experience an afternoon of fellowship, and empowerment—don’t miss it! Give God the highest praise and thanks for His wonderful kindness as we celebrate our 150 years—we’ve come this far by Faith.
Dinner will be served after the 11:00 a.m. service
Historical Society June Meeting
At the meeting of the Historical Society of Frankford on June 11th, Justin C. Bailey, Secretary, Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, presented 190 year old books of minutes, in four boxes from the Odd Fellows Lodge #14 in Frankford to the Society for addition to their collections.
Before the presentation, salads, sandwiches, coffee, tea and desserts were put out and all had a good time.
The next meeting of the Historical Society of Frankford will be on September 10th at 7:30 PM. The program subject to be announced at a future time.

Zoning Meeting 1520 Arrott Street
We will have a zoning meeting on Thursday, June 13th at 2nd Baptist Church at 6:30 pm. We only have one case this month. It was continued from last month:
1520 Arrott Street – Owner wants to reopen as a sit down restaurant. He had the business shut down before (Nuisance bar) and wanted to open up a strip club as well.
