Crime Bulletin from the Special Victimes Unit

This incident took place at 9:15 PM on March 27th:

44 year old female reported that while walking in the area of Frankford & Orthodox St., she was approached by two unknown males who asked her for a cigarette.  The males then grabbed her and took her to a vacant lot, where they sexually assaulted her.  She received abrasions on her left leg when pushed to the ground.  Offenders: #1-b/m, mid to late 30’s, 135-140lbs., dark complexion, pointy black scruffy beard, wearing two dark colored hooded sweatshirts. #2-b/m, late 20’s-early 30’s, 5’9”-5’10”, 200lbs., dark complexion, black hair, no facial hair, wearing a black shirt, black jacket and white cap

T&T Bar to Change Its Name to Deuces

Rumors swirled around the neighborhood today that the T&T bar will reopen under “new management” with the new name “Deuces”.  This is the bar where Chris Spence was shot down only two weeks ago.  The neighborhood has vowed to keep it closed, no matter what the name.

Got this link from a tipster.  My great uncles were cops and my cousin, Jeff Miller, is still working in the 15th District.  It’s a big file but has a lot of stories in there.  Have a look.  So many of the names are familiar and some of well known to us in Frankford.

Information Bulletin from the Special Victims Unit

From the 15th district via West Frankford Town Watch:

On January 31st at about 4PM, on the 16oo block of Margaret Street –

13 year old female reports that while coming home from school, she noticed a male following her.  He approached her from behind and grabbed her and placed her into the backseat of a vehicle.  The vehicle was being operated by another male.  She was taken to an unknown location and once inside, she was sexually assaulted by the 1st male.  She was then driven to Broad & Hunting Park Ave., were she was let out of the vehicle.

Offenders: #1- b/m, 20 years old, 5’11”, medium build, light complexion, clean shaven, wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers.  #2- b/m, 20 years old, brown complexion, skinny build, wearing dark blue jeans and a black Nike jacket.  The vehicle is described as a green, four door vehicle, tinted windows, with white cursive writing on back window (unknown wording) and black leather interior.

12 year old female reports that an unknown male, driving a white van approached her and stated “Do you want a piece of candy, if you want a piece of candy, get in the van”.  She refused and ran away.  Offender: w/m, white beard, curly white hair and was heavy set.  NFD.
