Friends of Overington Park Will Not Meet in February
There will be no Overington Park Meeting in February. The next meeting will be March 7th at the Friends Meetinghouse, 1500 Orthodox Street.
Love Your Park Day at Overington Park
Please join us this Saturday, November 12th, at Overington Park, 10 AM to 1 PM for Love Your Park Day. Enjoy a Brisk Fall Day in the Park. We will have free hot apple cider and refreshments for all volunteers.
Friends of Overington Park Looks to New Members
Great turnout for Art Under the Trees on September 17th. The Frankford ROTC once again volunteered and 25 kids had a great time.

Volunteers are needed to keep the fun rolling as the Friends of Overington Park plans for the future. Come out to the next meeting at Friends Meeting House at 1500 Orthodox Street at 7 PM on October 4th (First Tuesday of every month).
Overington Park Flea Market Big Success
Friends of Overington Park held their first flea market in several years on June 4th along Orthodox Street. The weather looked threatening earlier in the morning but when I stopped by there about Noon the sun was beaming.
Vendors were lined up along Orthodox street and reported brisk sales. No doubt that was helped by the high visibility location.
And coming up this weekend, June 11th, at Overington Park Meet and Greet with the annual Salsa contest and Pot Luck picnic.
