I have been driving down Walker Street for 30 years or so and really never stopped to look at these nice little houses.  On the 5100 block they are all very nice and well kept.  This one was just easier to see from the street and has a nice little garden.

The home last week was indeed in the 4700 block of Penn Street just below Foulkrod.  When you drive down the street you tend to remember the negatives rather than the positive.  There are several nice homes on that block.

I usually look for those nice modest houses to put up here but I have to give these folks credit.  It always looks nice here.  No street trash from the local stores.  And it is a very nice house.

 

This is one of those houses that is so easy to just not notice.  You do not see many houses where the shutters look like they actually have been with the house since it was built.  Does anybody know where this house is?  Leave a comment with your guess.

On the 1600 block of Dyre Street is one of the nicest collection of well kept homes in the area.  There are several that are outstanding but they do not all make good pictures.  This one is just an example of what you will find when you walk down the street.
