Well, here we are on the 1500 block of Ruan Street. This is a duplex and it was updated since it was purchased in 2006. The exterior is a nice stucco. New front doors for both units and the most important thing is that the sidewalk is always clean.
This week, in the 1100 block of Foulkrod Street. It was right after the humidity dropped, in the morning and the sun hit it just right to make it stand out.
Some blocks in Frankford face greater challenges than others in maintaining a decent quality of life but life does go on. In this home of the week, on the 4800 block of Griscom, the residents have maintained a lovely little garden that makes a great positive statement.
Also down on the 1600 block of Harrison Street is a unique and at the same time disadvantaged property. It is an old victorian converted to apartments but the owners have maintained it beautifully all these years. I was looking for an apartment back in 1970 and looked there but they didn’t have anything in my price range. It is still a great looking building today.

This is a very neat little house on the 1600 block of Harrison Street. it was an overcast afternoon and the garden still pops right out at you.
