Safety Ambassadors to Return to Frankford Avenue

Tim Wisniewski, Executive Director of the Frankford Special Services District,  announce the resumption of Frankford Safety Ambassador program at the Northwood Civic Association meeting last night.  They should be out on the street by the end of the month.

    Description – Town Hall Meeting on drug rehabilitation facilities and housing for recovering addicts. Drug rehabilitation and recovery have been of particular concern to Frankford residents, who have complained to city officials, including councilwoman Sanchez, about the large number of these facilities in Frankford.

Historic Greenwood Estate at Rush Farm

If you have time on Friday, don’t forget the groundbreaking for the restoration of this old house.  As a result of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America involvement, the Knights of Pythias/Greenwood Cemetery is seeing some long overdue, monumental changes.  The ceremony will be on Friday April 30th at 10:00 AM.
