MY ROCK
My Rock
If I could turn back the hands of time,
Oh – the change that I would make.
There would be no grey skies, only sunny,
Bees would make more honey,
Your garden would have only red roses.
As the years passed by I noticed the twinkle in your eyes are fading,
I know you may walk a little slower, but I know you’re a little wiser.
So, when it comes to you my dear,
I wouldn’t change a thing.
You’re my rock, you’re my everything.

WHAT I’VE BEEN TOLD
WHAT I’VE BEEN TOLD
Look for the rainbow after the Storm, then you’ll find a pot of gold,
This may be a myth so I’ve been told. But this is one thing I know for sure,
When I look into my mother’s eyes past the tears, and past the Soul,
I know I’ll find a heart of gold.
So, don’t go chasing rainbows after the storm,
Just look into your mother’s eyes, and you’ll find she has a heart of gold.
This is what I know for sure, mothers have a heart of gold.

LIFE’S HIGH HURDLES
LIFE’S HIGH HURDLES
Life’s high hurdles are not put in your way to make you stop.
Life’s high hurdles are put in your way to teach you to stop, take three steps then hop.
