KOBE
As a young boy he traveled from Philly to the bright lights of LA,
He was so young that nobody knew his name.
When he got on the court and showed them that he could shoot.
A young boy among men, boy he sure could play.
He left behind such a legacy; the game will never be the same.
Now the whole world knows that young boy became a man,
And Kobe was his name.

Let me tell you how you make me feel today,
you say love and laughter is coming my way.
With no way but up, I’m feeling okay,
with love and laughter coming my way.
Without your sweet words, I don’t know what to say,
so let me thank you for the encouragement you’re giving me today.
And thank you for your guidance that you have given me,
with strength in your love, I think I understand.
With all the love and laughter come my way,
so at the end of the day, I’m doing okay,
with love and laughter come my way.

I hope you read my letter and shared it with your friends, and show them how mean you’ve been from beginning to end.
Knowing we were more than friends, from elementary to Junior High.
Now you’re with your friends and talking Jive, with a gun in your hand but no real plans, dropped out of school now who’s the fool ?
So get it together, and go back to school, and show them with education you can still rule.
