Rest of My Life

From the back of the church I heard bell’s ring, and she’ll receive a diamond ring.
These are the words I heard him say, with this ring I thee Wed, and never shall I go astray.
From this day on all my dreams have been fulfilled, just to know that you will become a part of my life.
While walking down the aisle alone just to meet you at the altar.

Just to see you on this wedding day takes all my energy, and breath away.
A man so humble as myself, knowing our names will become entrusted as one.
So, this is one promise I will make to you, with these hands I will provide for you,
And should there be stormy sea I will lay down my life for you.

So, on this day I take you for my wife to have and to hold for the rest of my life.

THAT’S OKAY

You may not feel the way that I do.
But, I lost my best friend when I lost you-
And that morning breeze just keeps blowing through.

So, if you should stumble, If you should fall,
And you need someone to talk to – Give me a call.
Because in my heart you will always stay-
My best friend.

Because best friends have a meeting of the soul, and my soul refuses to let you go.
So, If I don’t hear from you – That’s okay.
Because In my mind you will always stay-
My best friend – Forever, and a day.

MUST BE THE REASON

When a baby bird falls from the tree before it learns to fly, there must be a reason.
If you start out on the right path, and end up on the wrong side, there must be a reason.
When flowers bloom and look up to the sky, there must be a reason.
But when you learn to fly, end up on the right side, look up to the sky, and have faith in yourself, and believe in God.
That must be the reason.

ONE OF US

I said I’d be there when the band starts playing.
I said I’d be there when they turn the lights down low.
I don’t know how you’re feeling, but one of us have to let go.

There comes a time when the journey is over, and one of us must take the high road.
So, just remember when the band stops playing, one of us have to let go.
You think there is no tomorrow, just like someone has just closed the door. You get all wrapped up in your feelings, thinking this is not how it’s supposed to go.

So, when the music stops playing, and they turn the lights down low,
Just remember that this is not the way it’s supposed to be,
But one of us must let go.

SUNRISE

 

As I wake up early in the morning, and see the sun peeping over my window seal, I just turn around and say THANK YOU LORD for allowing me to see the SUNRISE- once again.

I believe you help me raise my children, you help me put food on the table, you never leave me when I’m lonely, you never allow me to stand still.

That’s why I believe in your GREATNESS, and I will always follow your will. So, THANK YOU LORD for allowing me, to see the SUNRISE – once again.
