Let Me Lean

Let Me Lean

Let me lean on you Lord, you know I’m not that strong.
Let me lean on you Lord, let me lean.
As the days go by, I know you can hear me cry.
Let me lean on you Lord, let me lean.
I knew there would come a day that I couldn’t make it all the way.
So let me lean on you Lord, let me lean.
When my day gets rough, and I know I’m not that tough.
So let me lean on you Lord, let me lean.
At the end of the day, I can make it the rest of the way.
That’s when I turn and say, thank you Lord – for allowing me to lean.
So, when the road get rough, and you know I’m not that tough,
I just want to thank you Lord, for letting me lean.

Letter From a Soldier

LETTER FROM A SOLDIER

Even though I may be a thousand miles away, that only means the world is getting smaller every single day.

So, this is what I’ll do to show my love for you – I’ll send you a package every day.

It’ll be postmarked USA, and in this package, there will be a letter, saying I miss you every single day, from a soldier a thousand miles away.

Even though I can’t be with you on this Valentine’s Day, just read the letter and listen to what I have to say.

It will say I love you more than words can express, in a very caring way, from a lonely soldier, a thousand miles away.

Golden Years

GOLDEN YEARS

When you get caught up in your golden years, and life is moving kind of slow, these are some of the things that you should know.
Don’t hit the cruise button – that’s moving too slow – step on the gas, and let It Go.
Because these are the golden years you’ve been working for. To be able to lay down that heavy burden, from 9 to 5.
These are the days you’ve been waiting for.
So, pick up your keys, and hit the road, and don’t let nobody tell you you’re too old. Because these are the golden years you’ve been waiting for.
Now get it together, and hit the Road, and let them know you’re never too old.
Now, with your convertible top down, you can continue to paint the town – Because these are your – GOLDEN YEARS.

You Have A Choice

YOU HAVE A CHOICE

How can you love with no affection, how can you sing without a voice?
So, turn around and look in my direction. Because you always have a choice.
So don’t think life is only in One Direction. Because you always have a choice.
You can wake up early in the morning or sleep late on your motorboat.
Just remember you may not have the answer, but you always have a choice.
You may want to go swimming with the dolphins,
And find yourself swimming away from the sharks.
Just remember in life there’s always a reason,
You may not understand the answer –
Right, wrong, or indifferent, you always have a choice.

Yes I Care

YES I CARE

If there’s a mountain I have to climb,
If there’s a horse I have to ride,
If there’s a diamond I have to find.
Just to make my way back to you.
Then I don’t mind, then this is what I have to do.
To show how much I care for you.
I’ll cross the desert on a mule,
Dance on hot coals like a fool.
Knowing this is what I have to do – to make it back to you.
I’ll jump from a plane at High Noon,
Walk Barefoot through the Lagoon.
I’ll do what I have to do, to make it back to you.
It doesn’t matter where I go,
I let everyone know,
I’m working my way back to you,
To show you how much I care for you – yes, I really care for you.
As the days go by, I know I really have to try to make my way back to you.
This is what I’ll do,
Just to show you that I care for you.
Yes, I really care for you.
