Memorial Day has historically been a day of reflection in commemoration those who have given their lives in service to our country. It began as Decoration Day and was the day when the living decorated the graves of the fallen in memory of their service. These days it’s barbeques, big box store sales and lots of flag waving.
On this Monday, May 27th, Let us not forget the men and women who one day left home for the final time.
THERE’S ALWAYS TOMORROW
Come and sit down by my side and tell me all about your trouble – one thing you must learn – you can’t make no one love you.
So, dry your eyes, and don’t worry about tomorrow. Because if you look deep down inside, you’ll find the world is full of nothing but trouble.
So, don’t go looking for love, because in the end – it will find you. It may not be today or tomorrow but in time – it will find you.
So come and sit down by my side and forget about your trouble. Because the sun will rise tomorrow.
So, look at the bright side of life, in time love will find you. It may not be today or tomorrow, but you just wait and see.
So, at the end of the day as the sun fades away, just remember – there’s always tomorrow.

TENDER TOUCH
It doesn’t make any difference, what highway or road we take.
Because when we get in trouble, there’s no mistake.
We call on the name of Mama.
Because we can still imagine Mama’s tender touch and loving hands,
I don’t care how old we get, there’s something About Mama, and that tender touch.
So, when you wake up this morning, don’t forget about the one who held you near, and kept you close when you were in fear.
If you fell and hurt yourself, she would kiss your dirty knees.
Now it’s time to reciprocate and show her that you care.
Because when you sit back and wonder – just remember she was always there.
Yes, I’ll always Remember Mama, in my good days and my bad.
There is one thing I will never forget – her tender touch, and loving hands.

There’s not a day that goes by, that I don’t stop and think of your Apple Blossom Smile.
A smile that lights up every room – but now there’s nothing there but darkness and Gloom.
I remember the first day we met, you reminded me of a Cheshire cat – with that Apple Blossom Smile.
But as you turned away, everyone would say, there goes the girl with that – Apple Blossom Smile.
Even though you wandered to the wrong side of the tracks.
I know that one day you’d be back – with that Apple Blossom Smile.
As the days have come and gone, I still wonder what happened to the girl – with the Apple Blossom Smile.
