Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Happy Martin Luther King Day, the struggle is not over. Have faith.

WHEN YOU HAVE FAITH

Looking from the outside it’s easy to see,

That in life you’re not who you think you should be.

A school teacher a lawyer, a doctor on TV,

These are only some of the people you think you should be.

A school teacher a lawyer, a doctor on TV.

When God looked down and saw you on your knees,

He said Arise My son and believe,

I gave you the faith the size of a mustard seed.

You can be whatever you want to be,

Because when you have faith you have all that you need,

To be whatever you want to be,

Even with the faith the size of a small mustard seed.

Rock and Roll Christmas

When you turn the pages in your mind,
and look back over the years,
and remember how good it was.

When Mommy and Daddy were here.
with Daddy playing Santa Claus and
Mama pulling on his beard.

Oh yes, we had a rock and roll Christmas,
one that would last throughout the year.
yes, I still remember that rock and roll Christmas,
and that happy New Year.

Hard to believe we’re at the end of the year. I’ve appreciated being a small part of the Frankford community and highlighting the people that make up the neighborhood.
